Stairway to Heaven

Welcome back to the podcast!

Sorry, no Zeppelin this week, but what Richard has pulled from God’s Word is far better!

In this lesson Richard travels back to the days of the patriarchs and recalls the amazing dream of Jacob as he slept at Bethel; a stairway between Heaven and Earth with angels ascending and descending on it.

In this dream God “intrudes” into Jacob’s life and calls him into covenant. 1800 years later, Jesus reveals to Nathaniel that He is that stairway. Jesus connects Heaven with Earth, and in the gospel He “intrudes” into our lives, calling us into a relationship with God.
