Prejudice: The Game is Locked

by: Richard Shields

Welcome back to the podcast!

Phillip is a prime example of what a servant should be.  As we live out our lives and strive to be a good Christian and All people everywhere struggle with different forms of prejudice. Though we know God’s love is universal, and long to love people as God does, we can still find ourselves slipping into subtle forms of discrimination. We may see someone and determine from the way they look, they wouldn’t be interested in Jesus. From a person’s appearance or status we may conclude whether or not they are spiritually minded.  We close doors that God has opened. In today’s lesson we are reminded that Jesus opens the door of salvation to every person. Let us look into our hearts and make certain we are ready to share the good news of Jesus with everyone. For as our Lord reminds us in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

The scripture for this lesson is:  Acts 6:1-7. Read by Nico Angotti
